Chocobay

I’m not so familiar with french cuisine though I would love to learn the language. The last French restaurant I went to was in Beijing (La Mansarde).

The food here at The French Stall was not really authentic French but it was not bad. They even offered French fries (funny! really sticking to the misconception.

So let me skip to the desserts. There were not much desserts offered..we wanted to try the better ones than the ones on the set menu (we assumed it’s mediocre) so we ordered the Special Chocolate Cake. While my friends ordered also Souffle.

The cake was supposed to be special but I wasn’t impressed. It wasn’t sweet plus I can taste the grainy sugar outside the cake.

Good thing the Souffle was better. It exuded the chocolate aroma I was expecting. It felt nostalgic on every bite. My only wish: that the middle part should have some creamy chocolate inside for additional “ump”!
